Black Foremothers of the Reproductive Justice Movement

Join a 3-week online discussion of "Unsung Mothers of the Movement: A Radical Herstory on Black Southern Networks Facilitating Abortion Access Before and After Roe v. Wade" by Black activist Hailey Broughton-Jones.
In her thesis, Broughton-Jones powerfully summarizes the white supremacist roots of laws controlling reproductive healthcare and reveals the history of Black women exercising bodily autonomy and building support networks. Help draw out the lessons of this history for today.

Get to Know Radical Women!

Join Phoenix Radical Women for an evening discussion about the fight for reproductive justice and socialist feminist politics. We are multi-issue feminists active on many fronts in addition to defending reproductive autonomy: the rights of people of color, LGBTQ+ folk, the disabled, as well as union organizing and more! We are socialists who believe that the for-profit system is a terrible model for humanity. We also believe the fight for gender equality includes men and non-binary people.
This is an opportunity to share how you would like to get involved as well as ask questions to learn more about us! Register at http://bit.ly/GTK-RadicalWomenPhx

Weekly Phoenix zoom meetings for
SCOTUS Dobbs decision response planning

Your help is needed to organize a "day of decision" action to defend abortion rights and access to reproductive health care. The upcoming Supreme Court decision on the Mississippi case, Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, will undoubtedly gut, if not destroy, abortion rights for most people. People of color and poor and working women will be hardest hit. Help create the Phoenix response. Register at https://bit.ly/PhxReproRising Initiated by Phoenix Radical Women. Info: rw.phoenix@radicalwomen.org

Moving Beyond Capitalism to a Socialist Feminist Future

Are you fired up about the ongoing assaults on reproductive rights and trans youths' rights here in Arizona and beyond? Are you fed up with racist attacks and police murders of Black and Brown people? Are you feeling the impact of the COVID crisis on women workers and the poor? Are you looking for an alternative to a system that is rooted in inequality? Then join other activists in a free-wheeling discussion of The Radical Women Manifesto. The Manifesto examines the source of gender and race oppression and offers a concrete approach to building an intersectional movement for fundamental change!
